How to Use your HCS 200 Ultrasonic Gun Cleaner Kit

Cleaning your Firearm

1. Field-strip your weapon and set aside non-metallic grips of wood or ivory.
2. Prepare the bath by filling the ultrasonic cleaner tank with 1 gallon of water. Add the 8-oz. pre-measured gun cleaner concentrate.
3. Place disassembled components in the basket and immerse them in the bath.
4. Activate the unit and carefully examine parts after 10 minutes (they may be hot!)
5. When satisfied, rinse with warm water and allow them to dry.

Lubricating your Firearm

1. Lower the level of cleaning solution to the indicated point, insert the lubricating pan into the tank and add enough lubricating solution to fully cover the components.
2. Position the basket and components in the lubricant, assuring that they are fully immersed.
3. Operate the unit for approximately 10 minutes to remove all traces of water.
4. Remove and wipe the components to leave a fine lubricating film.
5. Oil and reassemble your firearm according to its manufacturer’s instructions.

When the cleaning solution loses efficiency, it should be replaced with a fresh batch.  Dispose the spent solutions according to local regulations.  Take time to clean the tank and pan according to the user manual.
