Low-cost ultrasonic bath cleaners such as the Crest E050CR units are great for a variety of ultrasonic cleaning jobs around the house or workshop. Use them for removing embedded dirt, tarnish, oils, biological tissues and other contaminants from dental instruments, cosmetology instruments, tattoo equipment, jewelry, fine silver, hand tools, etc.
Ultrasonic cavitation provided by the E050CR 45 kHz transducers create billions of minute bubbles that implode with tremendous force when they come in contact with all surfaces of parts being cleaned, stripping away contaminants in minutes. Compare this to the time and hit-and-miss results of manually scrubbing components in potentially harmful solvents or irritating aerosol sprays. As a further benefit, the auto sweep function in these ultrasonic bath cleaners insures homogenous distribution of cavitation action throughout the ultrasonic cleaning solution while serving to protect highly finished surfaces from streaking.
With practice you’ll soon become an expert using ultrasonic bath cleaners. A variety of biodegradable ultrasonic cleaning solution concentrates are available to match cleaning tasks. Mix them according to instructions and add them to the unit’s fill line. Allow the ultrasonic bath cleaner to operate for about 40 minutes to drive off cavitation inhibiting entrapped air. (This step is required for all newly prepared solutions.)
Place the parts into the cleaning basket (available separately) and lower them into the cleaning solution, set the timer and put the cover in position. When the cycle is completed, remove and inspect the results, then rinse and dry or proceed with further processing or reassembly.
We’ll help you select the right sized ultrasonic cleaner, the correct biodegradable cleaning solution concentrates and cleaning procedures to get the highest productivity possible from your ultrasonic cleaner investment.
